I would apologize for my deviantart absence but I don't actually feel like it *cough*
School is in session again and so far it is really taking a rotten toll on my creativity. Actually, I haven't been able to produce any decent art since the end of summer and I'm starting to doubt my abilities and the career I've chosen for myself. I've heard other people and my parents say to have art as a career you need to be able to produce art even when you're completely uninspired or hate the task you've been given but I don't see that happening.

Right now my schedule is English, English Literature, Biology and Ceramics accompanied by Piano, Piano Theory, a youth for diversity group, a co-op group associated with the rotary and possibly singing lessons as well if my audition for the school play went alright. (The play is "Dracula," the musical ...which is really super cool. No shit :eager: ) I also have try and produce twenty pieces of amazing artwork to submit for my application to Emily Carr by January...so yeah...I'm a bit overwhelmed. Oh right! And I have to fundraise for my grad which is 300 some odd dollars because god forbid the school could make the costs affordable. And my hedgehog died during the first week of school...and life is a bitch. It's also weird for me to say but I'm really not enjoying English or English Lit this year; I'm finding the classes very intimidating and I get this weird feeling like I'm invisible whenever I'm in there. True, the teacher does like Beardsley and Byron but she also likes to favour certain students and I guess because she doesn't favour me I feel pretty insignificant, (makes me sound like a snob, I know but that's just how I am in school.) I'm not loud or aggresive enough either during discussions to catch her attention.

Anyway...other than my doom and gloom perspectives ..next saturday...GUESS THE FUCK WHAT!!!??? IT'S OSCAR'S BIRTHDAY!!! PHAAAAA. The one bit of awesome I have to look forward to. :iconbritishplz::iconwildeplz: HELLZ YES.
I-I'm going to watch all the movies based off of his plays and bake a cake shaped like his face! But unfortunately I have no one to *really* celebrate with. Most people in this Campbell River don't even know that he existed and therfore that he was born or just don't care because they're asshats. :smoking: I am so jealous of my friends who actually live in places cool enough to have Neo-Victorian societies. Dances of Vice in NYC is having a whole evening at the Mantauk club dedicated to him...so is the SANVA group in Texas. Hot damn. I'd sell my soul to go there if it hadn't already been rotted and destroyed.

On another note I watched Labyrinth with David Bowie last night. -____- I sang along to all the songs and was giggling the whole time like a giddy little fangirl. Sarah must be crazy not to want Jareth to be her love slave. >> He offered! He was so willing! Urgh. (Y'all hunt like whiney bitches.)

Also watched Little Shop of Horrors, the musical one with Steve Martin. If you find sadistic dentists punching nurses in the stomach as funny as I do...go here...

Well folks, that's all I've got for now. Probably wont be submitting much in terms of art or writing anytime soon unless a mircale occurs but I'll try to keep up with all of my friends here.

Peace out. :peace:

All art is quite useless, and no artist truly wishes to be useful so I cannot imagine a better thing to dedicate my life to!

--I adore all things old and beautiful, I am severly "chronodysphoric," (as a certain brilliant man Mr. Lawrence Gullo might say,) and I am utterly in love with Oscar Wilde. -- If you would like to talk to a silly girl with a peculiar tastes for opera, literature and outlandishly flamboyant hats, by all means, don't hesitate to do so. Chances are I will glady strike up a conversation!

-Pleasant wishes to you all,
"The Gilded Lady."
